HPL will be closed the weekend of JAN 25 & 26 for a software migration. Online library accounts will be impacted during this migration period. Placing reserves and renewing items within the online catalog or library app will not be possible. Digital collections like Libby and hoopla along with online databases will be available over the weekend.
Patron Lists
During migration, staff is working to preserve patron reading history and saved title lists in library accounts.
To insure access to this information, patrons may wish to print these lists from online accounts before the migration takes place.
Online Library Account Passwords Starting MON JAN 27
During the migration, all patron account passwords will be reset by default to the last 4 digits of the primary telephone number listed in the account.
Beginning MON JAN 27, use your library barcode number and default telephone PW to sign in to your online library account. Under Your Account and then Account Settings, reset your password, if you wish, to a custom one. Be sure to save any changes made.

Password Changes and hoopla
Are you a current hoopla digital user? The password change going into effect JAN 27 will impact hoopla borrowing. Take these steps to update your new library PW in hoopla settings:
First, on or after JAN 27, verify your library password by signing in successfully to your online library account using the default telephone PW described above. Once in your library account, you may keep the default PW or customize it and then save.
Next, open the hoopla app on your phone or tablet. Navigate to the toolbar at the bottom of the screen and tap Settings. Next, select Library Settings. In the PIN (password) field, touch to update, enter your new library password, and then Save Library Settings.
Test this PW change by successfully borrowing a hoopla title post migration on JAN 27 or later.
Need help navigating these changes, please call the library 856.429.1304 Option 2; staff will be happy to answer questions. Thank you!
